What do you think of when you think of Music City? Do we realize the significant impact women have made on our city and culture? Sure, we think about famous names like Dolly, Reba, Trisha, the list goes on and on. But let’s not forget the women who have built this city outside of country music. We would not have a beautiful Symphony Center were it not for Martha Ingram. And the Frist Art Museum was a passion project for the late Mrs. Frist. The arts here have been paved by fearless females.
