do you make scrap quilts?

I love to make scrap quilts, and I am particularly fond of charm quilts, which use a different fabric for each piece in the project. Seeing fabrics again as I cut, piece, and quilt brings back memories of quilts I made for loved ones or as gifts for my sewing friends. How do you get the variety needed for super scrappy quilts? Because I make mostly miniature quilts (too many ideas and not enough time!), I cut 3-, 5-, and 6-inch squares of each new fabric I buy. I sort the squares by size and store them in clear plastic containers that I stack according to fabric color. This makes it easy for me to see if I already have cut a particular fabric.
