Easter is early this year, so to give you plenty of time to plan your roster of palate-teasing, bliss-making recipes for the long weekend shimmering into view on the horizon, we’ve made this our special issue. It’s another tricky moment, though, isn’t it? As I write, I have no idea whether restrictions will be lifted to the point where we’re allowed to invite another human being across our threshold. Sue Reid’s response was so thought-provoking and challenging that we are printing it here in full… I want to thank Felicity for her thought-provoking, grounded and honest piece on food poverty. She is right that it’s difficult for people, particularly those from wealthy backgrounds, to comprehend not just food poverty but more general poverty in our country.
