Autumn is, without a doubt, our favourite season here in the Love Crochet offce – gorgeous shades of copper, chocolate, plum, burnt orange are in abundance… So, we have taken our inspiration from Mother Nature and packed this issue full of makes in these autumnal cosy colours, in celebration of the new season. We have a beautiful leaf hanging on page 46; soft and stunning granny scarf (p.52), a sweet, ready-for-fall fox, complete with cute little hat and scarf (p.18); and of course, our cover stars, the utterly adorable pair of hedgehogs (p.12). Homes are decorated for every season in the U.S.A. and autumn seems to be next on the list after Christmas – or should that be before! Wreaths, garlands, placemats and, of course, pumpkins are all put on display. Autumn leaves are not just red, yellow and brown – there are so many colour variations.
