This Christmas, take a moment to reflect on celebrations past as we reach the end of another decade. I believe that the festive season should be a nostalgic time, where we keep alive cherished memories and traditions to pass down to the next generation. For this issue, we have turned back the clocks to discover how Britain was celebrating the season in the Roaring Twenties (page 87). Following World War I, people aspired to a family-focused, peaceful occasion, and I find it remarkable how little has truly changed over the last century. We still embrace the same traditions, from visiting Santa’s grotto to tucking into Christmas pudding.
