So it made perfect sense when Smith teamed up with equally outstanding Brit brand Anglepoise for the Type 75 Edition Desk Lamp Edition One. In fact, the partnership was so successful a subsequent Edition Two was recently launched to international appeal. Edition Two evokes the deep hues of Autumn with jewel-like colours and an accent of orange over a deep slate and cool grey base. If, like every design buff, you can’t…

MOLL CHILDREN’S FURNITURE (FROM ERGOKID) DIMPLE ASWANI Mother of Aaron (five) and Angel (seven months) “As the kids grow older, ergonomic furniture is an essential element in their rooms to ensure they learn to study and sit in proper posture. When Aaron turned five, I bought him an adjustable study table and chair from moll, a Scandinavian brand specialising in furniture that grows with your child.” DECALS AND PATTERNED WALLPAPER (FROM CUCKOO) LOCK CHING YUEN Mother of Sean (four) and Caitlyn (two) “The right wallcovering is important because it sets the mood. The main theme should be something they like, such as owls or alphabets for my little girl, or spaceships, dinosaurs or safari animals for my son. This encourages them to sleep in their own rooms instead of hogging Mummy’s bed!” FUN ORNAMENTS (FROM THE BETTER TOY…
