When my husband, Jay, and I decided to swap rainy London for sunnier shores in his home country of Australia, I didn’t expect us to stay long,’ says artist Ali McNabney-Stevens. ‘Nearly two decades later, we’re now a family of five and I’m happy to call Melbourne home. ‘We first moved to a tiny Art Deco apartment, but it was never going to suit a growing family.
