mummy meagz crème eggs now available in asda

Vegan chocolatier Mummy Meagz ( has launched its famous Chuckie Egg into Asda stores all year round, meaning fans no longer have to wait until Easter time to get their hands on it. The egg has become a popular Easter treat amongst vegans; the new year-round version has changed the recipe slightly to include a creamy ‘milk’ chocolate shell, instead of the dark chocolate used previously. Made using rice milk and cocoa, the egg has become the first crème egg to be available in supermarkets throughout the year. The eggs are free of palm oil, and use fondant to create the famous yellow and white filling. vegan trifle arrives in tesco

A brand new free-from trifle has arrived in the UK, making its debut in Tesco. Over the Spoon ( has created what they are calling the world’s first dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan trifle available in supermarkets. The brand, previously named Freaks of Nature, has created the Creamy Strawberry Trifle, alongside three other dessert options: Zingy Lemon Cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge Pudding and Belgian Chocolate Mousse.
