Tracy Taylor With more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, American stylist Tracy Taylor has dressed everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Mary J Blige to Rachel Weisz. For this month’s cover story, she went to San Francisco to style The Morning Show star Gugu Mbatha-Raw. ‘Gugu was a total dream,’ she says. ‘She jumped right in like a pro. It was like she was one of the crew.’ Who has been Tracy’s most memorable subject over the years? Former president Barack Obama, she says. ‘He only let me change his tie, saying that his wife is the only person that dresses him.’ Patty Palmer-Tomkinson Brexit may have sparked the decline of the chalet girl, but hers has always been a life of ups and downs. tatler’s little black book party

No one wanted the night to end. So when Tatler’s Little Black Book party with Michael Kors Collection began to wind down at Tramp, guests were discussing where to see in the dawn. During celebrations fuelled by Laurent-Perrier champagne, Casamigos picante cocktails, and lobster and chips, the country’s most eligible singletons were feted – among them three future dukes (St Albans, Rutland and Argyll), Tatler cover star Lady Lola Bute, Princess Diana’s nieces and Boris Becker’s son. Meanwhile, Algy Stanley revealed he was also in a relationship. ‘I’d better keep it down,’ he laughed. ‘I might get thrown out.’ No fear of that for Lady Eliza and…

Henry Wyndham swept over to greet the Duchess of Cornwall; Charles Delevingne and Tomasz Starzewski listened intently to the speeches; Ali Spencer-Churchill declared his mother ‘the new Delia Smith’; and the Duke and Duchess of Richmond sped off to have something from the book cooked for them for supper.…

Is there anything that Natalie Livingstone can’t do? Fresh from hosting the world’s most dazzling literary festival, the historian and chatelaine of Cliveden released her second book, The Women of Rothschild: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Famous Dynasty. ‘It was a tremendous relief,’ Natalie said of finishing the book, which took six years to write and explores the sidelined women of the famous family. ‘I will finally have something else to talk about.’ A glamorous crowd of 100 guests descended on The Mayfair Townhouse for the launch. June Sarpong gave Natalie an impromptu lesson on ‘how to Instagram’ but it was Natalie’s five-year-old daughter who stole the show – she spent the evening signing books for her mother.…
