She doesn’t like the word “brave” (she’ll take “inspirational” if she has to), but even she would admit that it takes guts to do what she’s done. I am, of course, talking about this month’s cover star, the gregarious Kerre Woodham. On the surface, you might think I’m referring to her glorious performance as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and while that most definitely required nerves of steel, you’ll read in her honest and raw interview on page 14 that her journey has been so much more than that.
