It’s about this time of year when the struggle of the juggle starts to kick in. That tug-of-war fight between the forces of home, work and other demands is very real, especially for parents and especially for mothers. Just recently, I had all the balls in the air! Having risen at 3.30am to make a flight to Sydney following a late night of washing uniforms, precooking meals, and organising pick-ups, drop-offs and the like, I found myself in a very serious six-hour strategy meeting at our HQ, racked with guilt that it was my son’s first day back at school after weeks of holiday and I wasn’t there for him.
