my craft room: sophie crabb

“Welcome to Sew Sophie HQ! My space is filled with shelves, boxes and baskets to house all of the bits and bobs needed to create my cross stitch kits, including an embroidery hoop rack above my desk. One of my favourite parts of my workspace is being greeted by a shelf of colourful DMC thread cones as I walk in. I also have a fun notice board above my desk with art prints from other small businesses and of course some mini cross stitch hoops and pretty scissors.” Instagram @sewsophiecrafts www.sewsophiecrafts.co.uk Drop us a line to crosssstitcher@warnersgroup.co.uk with images of your craft space and a few words about it and our favourites could be featured in a future issue!…

Grateful that I have a wonderful job, grateful that I have slowed things down enough to appreciate the small wonders of everyday existence, grateful for the contentment and sincere happiness that years of working on myself have brought me. So, it seemed only logical that this month’s flower is the beautiful bluebell, who’s floriology meaning is ‘gratitude’. I often used to focus…
