This issue is a celebration of bold architectural moves, vibrant colour, and luxurious tactility. We explore the beauty and success of interiors with soul and character. We look at the decadent moves of maximalism inspired by the nostalgia of 1970s glamour (page 20) and two distinctly New Zealand palettes in a striking collaboration between four local design houses (page 66). In New Plymouth, we look at two very different interiors: the renovation of a 1990s apartment into an overtly contemporary city base for its owners, and a kitchen of verdant green and brass by Annika Rowson (page 54).
