You’ve got a US$3 million Bugatti Chiron in the garage. The pinnacle of hyper sports cars, it’s the fastest, most powerful, and exclusive production vehicle in Bugatti’s 110-year history —“ a unique masterpiece of art, form and technique, that pushes boundaries beyond imagination,” as the marque puts it. So what do you wear on your wrist? Even a Patek Philippe doesn’t quite cut it. So in 2019 Bugatti signed a partnership with Jacob & Co., the diamond-studded watch brand created by jeweller-to-the-stars Jacob Arabo, who counts the likes of Jay-Z, Drake and Cristiano Ronaldo as clients. Though Jacob & Co. is quickly becoming an icon of avant-garde ultra-luxury watchmaking, with its latest creation for Bugatti Arabo has shown that he’s also equal to the task of interpreting Bugatti’s impressive history, much…

getting to know… renee gracie

Congratulations on your first MAXIM feature and a great shoot, Renee. How do you feel? I’m very excited to be featured. It was a goal of mine to get into the magazine and I love that this shoot is so white, light and bright. Well, you look gorgeous. When do you feel you are at your sexiest? Thanks. I feel sexy when I’m shooting and looking back at my digital content. Sometimes, in photos, I don’t like the way I look, but sometimes I feel I’ve taken some amazing photos. Since creating online content I’ve never felt better about myself. “It’s 2021 — people want to be free, people want to express themselves more than ever and having these platforms block stuff is quite sad.” What is your best asset? I think my best asset is…

size matters

After launching an in-house superyacht division at the Monaco Yacht Show recently, they teamed up with Pendennis and Icon Yachts to reveal the company’s newest 100ft model, the creatively named, Sunseeker 100 Yacht. Sunseeker’s designers were clearly up for maximum entertainment — creating a special tender garage that can be transformed into a Beach Club with wet bar, or for hosting events close to the water, or for guests to dine on freshly caught barra on the built-in barbie. If speed is more one’s game, there is plenty of stowage area in the garage for a Williams 395 Sportjet with a GTX255 jet ski. The lower deck swim platform uses a Benzenzoni ladder gangway for easy access to the all important water toys, while a large rain shower is on deck to…

rocking the boat with lamborghini

The Italian icon has been providing engines to other yachts since the 1960s, but this is the first time they have designed and powered their own project. Inspired by the Sian FKP hybrid road car, this yacht gets all the Lamborghini's trademarks we drool over; the Y-shaped headlamps, the hexagonal styling, and of course a healthy chunk of carbon fibre. The hard top shares the same design as the roadsters, which is genius at minimising exposure to the sun and wind while maintaining peak aerodynamics. Inside, the signature angular styling is ever-present, as well as a knock-off of Lambo’s steering wheel, a Lambo-like driver’s seat, and dashboard graphics based on the Sian FKP37. Not surprisingly, the engine start buttons are exactly the same as the Aventador and the Huracan. Despite the Sian FKP…

Revealed at the Gran Turismo Championship World Finals in Monaco, the Vision V12 is a Ferrari concept’s nightmare. Designed as a no-nonsense, track racer, it’ll appear in virtual, driveable form in Gran Turismo Sport later this year. The coupe is a reimagined version of the Aventador-based Sian FKP 37, Lamborghini’s most powerful-ever car and first electrified model. Just like the Sian, the digital version marries the Aventador’s 774 horsepower 6.5 litre V12 with an electric motor powered by supercapacitors. Boasting a 0-100 km/h time in 2.8 seconds on its way to a 350 km/h top speed, the car only weighs 891kg and has a one to one power to weight ratio, meaning it will produce about 1,220 horsepower. However, it is the car’s design that really gets the juices flowing. Designed…

artillery armament

Ivanov paid his dues at Dreamworks, Anima Barcelona, and Rimac Automobili, so you know his auto/animation game is past newbie level. Even so, his latest chop up is a step away from his previous work - so ferocious it makes the Tesla Cybertruck look like a cardboard cutout. Even though it resembles a Rezvani tank/Lamborghini Urus sandwich, Ivanov does name the Cybertruck as a source of inspiration, along with Jeep and Hummer. With a matte black finish, you also get strong Batman Tumbler feels — and not surprisingly it carries a similar armour. That armour is made of Kevlar, titanium steel, and carbon fibre, some of the most F.U. materials on Earth. Not to be outdone, the wheels will be able to withstand any artillery onslaught. Of course a vehicle of this…
