One’s just off to the polo! Shunning a chauffeured ride, Prince Philip chose to drive his wife, the Queen, to the prestigious Cartier Queen’s Cup Polo final last week. Looking comfortable behind the wheel of his Land Rover, it came as a surprise when the 96-year-old was admitted to hospital just days later with an infection. The Queen (91) looked lovely in a pink floral frock, and despite 30-plus degree heat, donned her usual white gloves to present the cup. The polo tournament, one of only five elite competitions in the world, is said to be a favourite event of the monarch, and she’s ill-inclined to miss it.
