There’s always a few tears on the first day of school – whether they be from mum and dad or the youngster – and princes are no exception! Crown Princess Mary (45) and Prince Frederik (49) of Denmark were on hand to comfort their son Prince Vincent (6) as he teared up while posing for a photo with his family just before the school run last week. It’s with much sadness that I let you know that we lost one of our gr eat Weekly family members this week – our wonderful T ui Flower. Tui started up the Weekly’s famous Test Kitchen in 1965 and helmed it for nearly 20 years, truly shaping the way New Zealanders cook and enjoy food in the pr ocess. In the years since, she has continued to have a finger in the pie her e at the Weekly and our pages simply wouldn’ t be the same without her . Tui didn’t mince wor ds and was a stickler for accuracy , facts and etiquette, but she had an absolute heart of gold. Her baking tins wer e always full when a visitor called and she was very gener ous…
