She was Coro royalty and for 34 years trod the famous cobbles playing lovable Vera Duckworth, so it was no surprise to see countless co-stars turn up to farewell Liz Dawn (77). The star, who suffered from emphysema for nearly 10 years, died “peacefully in her sleep”, her family said, on September 25.
