Live and let live! Fresh off the back of a busy year in which he rocked Auckland’s Mt Smart stadium, Sir Paul McCartney took time out to enjoy life’s simpler pleasures on a holiday to St Barts. The former Beatle (75) took to the shores of the idyllic Caribbean island alongside his wife of six years, Nancy Shevell (58), daughter Stella McCartney (46) and his grandchildren, in what has become an annual family tradition. But ever the energetic frontman, Paul wasn’t content to soak up the sun, instead taking part in a competitive game of American football with Nancy and his stepson Arlen Blakeman (25) – Nancy’s son from her marriage to Bruce Blakeman – and frollicking about in the surf.
