Harry and Meghan’s visit to New Zealand will be packed full of official engagements, giving the couple a chance to see lots of local organisations at work and also to support causes that are dear to their hearts, such as the wellbeing of armed forces personnel, mental health, gender equality and women’s rights. It’s likely there will be trips to a marae, a military base and a school while they are here, and Harry will no doubt want to include sporting events in the itinerary – when he was here in 2015, he played five-a-side football, went to the Millennium Sports Institute and got along to a Hurricanes rugby match. How many times have you heard someone utter the saying, “It’s the little things in life”? They’re those teeny-tiny things that you sometimes take for granted, but they can turn a decidedly average day into a great one. As the weather grows colder and the skies get darker, sometimes it can be hard to remember it truly is those little things that make life grand.
