Every “model” in the event was dressed head-to-toe in clothing from Mercy Hopsice shops, all styled by the Weekly’s Style Director Leigh Matheson and her fabulous team. I’ve been to a fair few fashion shows in my time, and while I love gawking at the clothes and the theatrics of it all, I have to admit, I’ve never really felt it’s my scene. Despite the fun, the crowd often stays rather expressionless, looking like they’re too concerned with having the perfect pout for Instagram photos. But it was a completely different affair at a very special show, which brought NZ Fashion Week to a close last Sunday. Monaco’s gorgeous royal twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella (3) were all dressed up with somewhere to go last week. Joined by their parents, Prince Albert (60) and Princess Charlene (40), the siblings wore traditional costumes for the tiny country’s annual end-of-summer picnic.
