It was so lovely to be able to get out of Auckland during Labour Weekend, and my husband and I made the most of it! Wanting to avoid the traffic, we had a slow Saturday morning, hitting the road around midday. Our destination was Tauranga, but we’d decided we were going to take it easy. Traffic was relatively light and our first stop was Paeroa. While many stop in the town for a photo with the famous L&P bottle, it’s all about the second-hand and antique shops for us. The Queen and Prince William have a particularly strong bond, and now one of the reasons why they are close has come to light.
