America’s Cup is New Zealand’s Cup once again! Peter Burling and his Emirates Team New Zealand crew beat Luna Rossa, to the joy of Kiwis all around the country. It was the perfect end to a spectacular summer of sailing that saw two of the world’s best sailors – Jimmy Spithill, 41, and Peter Burling, 30 – go head-to-head. “Pete, if you can hear me, congrats, mate,” a classy Jimmy told his rival after his syndicate’s loss. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was there to celebrate their victory. “On behalf of all of Aotearoa, I congratulate Grant Dalton, Peter Burling and the whole team, those on the water and off it, for their achievements,” she said. “Peter Burling and his crew of skilled sailors showed what they were capable of in all conditions, highlighting…

And our designer Béla, who is a proud dad to 21-year-old twin girls himself, says it made him feel tired just reading their story! “It gets better,” he laughingly tells. smitten but sleep-deprived! sam & sarah on double duty

Sam Wallace is cradling one of his adorable newborn daughters and talking about the challenges of having identical twins. “The only way I can tell that this is Cosette is that she’s a little bit bigger than Sienna, she has a rounder face and, oh...” He looks from the babe in his arms to her sister, who is being cuddled by her mum, Sam’s fiancée Sarah Bowman. “Umm, no, that’s Cosette, this is Sienna,” he corrects himself. “Hey, it’s hard! They’re identical!” Radio host Sam admits that telling the tiny seven-week-old girls apart is tricky unless they are together. “If they are both in front of me, it is easier because of the difference in size,” tells the doting dad. “Sienna is smaller and her features are more dainty. Cosette is a bit more…

love, loss & starting over

It shocked the world when John Travolta shared the heartbreaking news that his wife of 29 years, Kelly Preston, had passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Eight months later, the 67-year-old is working on the difficult task of starting life anew without the beloved actress. “This was never the plan,” shares a source. “It’s been a huge struggle for John – he’s still heartbroken over losing Kelly. He often confides to pals that ‘Kelly was my whole world.’” But it is their two kids, Ella, 20, and Ben, 10, who are getting him through the days. “John’s only pleasure right now is their kids. Watching Ben grow into a fine young man and seeing Ella following her mum’s acting footsteps makes him so happy,” adds the insider. It isn’t…

make or break time! a-rod’s love dash

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, 45, are standing united, no matter what the rumour mill says. After news broke that the A-list pair had ended their two-year engagement amid cheating allegations, J.Lo and A-Rod released a short and simple statement in response. “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things.” And though their words are defiant, sources share that there is some truth to the speculation. The 51-year-old pop star has been in the Dominican Republic shooting her new film Shotgun Wedding and the distance is taking its toll. “They were having problems before she left for the Dominican Republic,” tells a source. “Filming made it worse because they haven’t been able to see each other much in person. But they love each other and want to keep working on…

But a judge has insisted he must work equally with co-conservator, the Bessemer Trust, added last year at Britney’s request. And with each small win, the 39-year-old and her boyfriend Sam Asghari, 27, make plans for their future – something she hasn’t been able to do in a long time. The personal trainer recently said he would love to start a family with Britney, while a source shares the Hit Me Baby singer wants a fresh start. “Her dream is to move away with Sam and…
