When the New Year’s Honours were announced earlier this month, I was thrilled for Miranda Harcourt, who was appointed a Dame. Regular Weekly readers will have seen her in our pages throughout the years – most recently our 90th birthday special issue and when her mum, Dame Kate, turned 95.
