These conceptual thoughts are honed, finetuned, annealed and sharpened over time to eventually become items on a bucket list. Such is the case with Graeme Dodd's #35 Ford 3-window coupe because he'd always wanted a desirable and stylish 3-window coupe, and eventually, after many years, he got one. But just like grandpa's axe, where the original axe may have had its handle and head changed over the years of constant use, it is still fundamentally the same axe. AFTER two years, the L.A. Roadsters Club was back at the Pomona Fairplex for their 56th L.A. Roadsters Show. For a handful of visiting Kiwis, it was great to see the show back with its fantastic swap meet. Typical, however, of the state of affairs in the world, it seems the Americans are really out of shape about increased fuel costs and other issues we all experience worldwide. As a result, the swap meet was a lot more spread out than usual, but there were still a lot of great cars and parts to be had. While Kiwi attendance was down, we did notice a few visitors from Australia, the U.K. and European countries. The L.A. Roadsters Club was started in 1957 and has hosted its annual car show since 1960.…
