Roadside repairs are something that anyone who has spent time clocking up the kilometres in old cars will undoubtedly have had to endure and overcome at some point. It’s something of a rite of passage, and, for some of us, any time we get into a particular car, it’s a roll-of-the-dice affair as to when and where the next breakdown may occur. I’ve been lucky of late (touch wood) that on all my long roadies (usually with kids in tow) that we’ve made it without drama.
