Thankfully, as I type, restrictions are starting to loosen and we are venturing from our homes occasionally, socially distanced of course. We sincerely hope you’ve able to visit those you have missed so very much over the past few months, even if we do have to wait a little longer for those all-important hugs. Work-wise we’ve been incredibly busy, merrily creating this special birthday issue packed with a few little extras, including our special birthday knits and two packed pages of giveaways for you to win. ROSEE WOODLAND Technical editor, designer and writer Meet Rosee, the technical brain behind many of your favourite knitting patterns Up early or slow to rise? Early! I like the quiet time before everyone else is up. First job of the day? Check my calendar. As well as creating my own designs I do a lot of pattern writing for other designers and yarn companies and need to keep on top of things. Mid-morning pick-me-up? A cup of strong tea and an apple or piece of toast and peanut butter. Fave time to sit back and take five? I like to cook lunch every day. Usually a spinach omelette or mushrooms and cheese on toast. If it’s sunny I’ll eat it in the garden and read for 20 mins before cracking on! Clocking-off time? On a ‘tech’ day,…
