the end of a mad dog era

This month, both American Airlines and Delta have confirmed that their venerable fleets of McDonnell-Douglas MD-80/90s will retire shortly, putting an end to an era that has lasted almost 37 years. The Dallas-based carrier has stated that its last flight is scheduled to happen on September 4, 2019; this will be followed by a one-of-a-kind retirement flight for its employees to the desert in Roswell, New Mexico. Airways will be on the very last revenue flight, reporting live through our website and social media feeds. Likewise, Delta has confirmed that the retirement of its MD-90 fleet will be completed by the end of 2022, marking the end of McDonnell-Douglas MD-80/90 operations in the United States. Dear Airways, Your July 2019 Airline report on Laudamotion brought me back childhood memories. My first flight ever was with Lauda Air to Miami in 1993. Today, Austrian operates the flight, but it needs to bring back the excellent inflight service of Lauda Air. I recently had the opportunity of flying in Laudamotion, and there are some details in the service that reminds me of the flying experience that the Author brilliantly stated. As he said, such details make the airline to stand out of its competitors. I believe that after Mr. Lauda’s passing, Laudamotion eventually will downgrade its product, and it will resemble to Ryanair, as the Irish airline now owns the airline. The New York-based carrier’s current fleet consists of 194 Airbus A320 family aircraft along with 60 Embraer E190 regional jets. 2 ELAN EXPRESS (CARGOJET) BOEING 767-24Q(ER) N767CJ (MSN 28270 · LN 629) Canadian musician Drake has received a Boeing 767-200 VIP. The aircraft, operated by Cargojet (W8), has Air Drake markings on the engine cowls and Cargojet markings on the lower aft fuselage. The airline has announced plans for scheduled services from its base at Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) to Colombia and destinations in the Caribbean. 5 AEROLÍNEAS ARGENTINAS BOEING 737-8HX(WL) LV-GGQ (MSN 42155 · LN 5907) Aerolineas Argentinas (AR) has applied special ‘#ArgentinaExporta’ titles to some of its aircraft. The aircraft wears special ‘Madrid te Abraza’ (Madrid Embraces You) titles. The Swiss leisure carrier has introduced a new red-and-blue livery, with large logo titles on the fuselage.
