When I was 19 and starting out in photography I was inspired by the likes of Arnold Newman, Ansel Adams, Man Ray, Annie Leibovitz and the first Magnum photographers whose imagery I still find beautiful and timeless. Where is home for you, and what do you love about it? Home is Sydney’s inner west. It’s somewhere I’ve always loved and have lived for many years. Close to family, friends and fantastic Italian food. What are some favourite local haunts that you frequent? Procrastination is really my only reliable friend when it comes to trying to distil the contents of each issue into the editor’s letter – everyone else falls away and I find myself completely off topic, not writing but reading insightful stories about princesses Eugenie and Beatrice and how difficult it is to balance being a young working woman with royal duties, followed by a scan of galleries of celebrities with the most disastrous plastic surgery!
