WELCOME
With the last event of its kind taking place as long ago as 2019, I’ve been rather excited about attending the International Mini Meeting in Italy. However, fun things like newspaper deadlines mean that it’s going to have to be something of an epic drive, and a large part of me has considered leaving my 30-year-old classic Mini at home, flying over and having longer to put my feet up. But then, there’s another (larger) part of me that questions why I would bother owning such a car if I’m not going to use it. And I know that if I didn’t take my classic, I’d regret missing out on a wonderful experience – or perhaps a disaster. Not knowing is part of the fun. That leads me neatly on to this…
