henares-yuzon

Quark Henares and Bianca Yuzon met at a Christmas party. “She and my cousin were talking about the anime Attack on Titan,” says Quark, “which I knew nothing about, but I inserted myself into the conversation anyway.” Quark, a film-maker, proposed to Bianca, a musician, in a way that made use of both their talents. “I staged a music video shoot where I knew I'd pop the question. Quark says. “In the studio next door, her friends and family were waiting to surprise her.” They had a three-day celebration at Alila Villas in Uluwatu, Bali. The first night had a welcome dinner with traditional Kecak dancing, speeches from treasured…

They were together for 14 years before Mark proposed on the second floor of Blackbird at Nielsen Tower. “I thought I was attending an event, but he proposed, and all our close family and friends were there,” she says. They had two celebrations, one at the PICC Manila, which was a joint event with the despedida de soltera. The church wedding took place in Italy at the Santa Felicita in Florence, the second oldest church in the city. They were then driven to the reception on a white vintage Bentley to the Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, a private residence once owned by the illustrious Medici family, which overlooks the breathtaking Chianti hills.…
