always setup your camera like this before you start shooting!

When you get a new camera it’s tempting to go straight out and start shooting. But it’s worth taking the time to setup a few things on your camera first, in order to make life easier and be set up for optimum shooting. Every pro photographer has their own way of doing things, so I’ve included the tips that I find most useful. Feel free to add your own! BATTERY AND MEMORY CARD Before you even start setting up your camera, make sure your battery is fully charged. I also highly recommend buying at least two batteries for your camera (and keeping them both charged!). There’s nothing worse than running out of juice halfway through a photo shoot.
