The Woodstock Music and Art Fair, held on a dairy farm in Bethel, New York, was one of the defining events of the 1960s counterculture revolution. THE FIRST TEST TUBE BABY IS BORN
Louise Joy Brown, the first baby in the world to be conceived by IVF, was born at the Royal Oldham Hospital in the UK.
