Why do I need BritBox when I can watch all these?
In the past month or so I’ve watched the following programmes on various channels on my TV: Dad’s Army, The Professionals, Porridge, The Two Ronnies, Blackadder, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke (pictured), M*A*S*H, The Sweeney, Inspector Morse, Downton Abbey, All Creatures Great and Small, Steptoe and Son, The New Avengers, Space: 1999 and many more. They’re not free of course because I pay for some of the channels, but it’s excellent value. Plus, I have loads of DVDs of classic BBC and ITV dramas from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
So, my question is simple. Why on earth would I pay £5.99 a month to watch all these on BritBox, when I’ve already paid several thousands of pounds over the years…
