BONHAMS ACHIEVED four world records at its 5 October auction in Zoute, Belgium, with sales of 82% totalling €7,930,343. Top seller was a fully restored 1962 Aston Martin DB4, a Series V Vantage originally sold in California, at €1,212,250, with the 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Series II Pinin Farina Coupé also selling for an above-estimate €989,000. A very late Chapron Citroën DS Décapotable, built in 1973, attracted a huge amount of attention. One of only four with the top-spec DS23 IE engine, it sold for €425,500. A 1954 Arnolt-Bristol Roadster also exceeded expectations at €391,000.
