signs of spring

In Oklahoma, the change of seasons is hard to miss. Each new time of year is ushered in with unmistakable drama and fanfare, and I always enjoy saying goodbye to the old and settling in to the new. What are some good meals to cook with kids? —Tracy Bakunas, West Milford, NJ Sheet pan suppers are great because you can show little ones how to chop safely and let them have fun arranging the dish, like this Ranch Pork Chop Supper (find the recipe on foodnetwork.com). If the recipe calls for a marinade or sauce, they can help mix it up. I also love really easy stir-fry pasta dishes. Your kids can help you chop and sauté while the noodles are cooking. Your dogs are so well behaved on your show. Do you do any training with them? —Christie Ellis, Lexington, KY Oh my gosh, there is no training going on with the Drummond dogs. I can’t emphasize this enough! If you’re referring to the basset hounds, I think it’s because they’re a…
