A photograph taken of the animal’s predicament was shared by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) who have witnessed the phenomenon multiple times. A representative from NOAA explained that in the nearly 40 years of protecting and monitoring “endangered Hawaiian monk seals, we have only started seeing ‘eels in noses’ in the last few years... A giant sculpture carved from a half-tonne of butter has been created to raise awareness of the struggling dairy industry in Pennsylvania, America. Unveiled at the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show, the sculpture includes a soldier, doctor, fire-fighter and football player all wearing superhero capes and also features the phrase “Find Your Power”. Representing everyday heroes, each figure holds a glass of milk whilst standing around a table hosting other popular dairy products, such as ice cream. Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, attended the reveal of the butter sculpture and explained, “It’s more than just butter... it’s a way for us to honour our dairy industry in a fun and memorable way - an industry that we work hard to promote and support year-round.” Pennsylvania is reported to have the second…
