baffling bunny

An adventurous white rabbit has been spotted travelling around London on various trains and buses. So far, the bunny has been on the London Overground and a bus in the city’s north unaccompanied by an owner. After Matt Hepburn tweeted a photo of the animal riding his bus with the caption, “There’s a rabbit on my bus”, it generated over 50,000 likes on the social media platform. Other rabbit spotters have since come forward with some raising concern for the animal’s welfare. Spokeswoman for Queensland Urban Utilities, Michelle Cull, said the company were “keen to know where the last remaining dunnies are and any funny stories people might have about braving the elements.” One example is Lyle Barlow, who was employed as a “night soil man” near Ipswich in…

A group of 245 thrill-seekers have seem to have succeeded in setting the world record for rope jumping off a 30-metre-tall bridge in Sau Paulo, Brazil. Participants wore white helmets and were all tied together before leaping from the bridge simultaneously and swinging back and forth before all coming to a standstill. One jumper, Laercio Dos Santos, explained the experience as a “crazy, unique feeling... You jump and it’s pure adrenaline and you just go.” One organiser of the stunt, Alan Fereira, said that a total of 400 people were involved in the overall project which required the assembly of complicated harnesses and bolts, as well as, safety checks on all ropes. The world record event used 20 kilometres of rope and 1,000 harnesses. Guinness World Records has not issued…
