A symphony orchestra is group of musicians who play their instruments together. An orchestra has four sections—woodwind, brass, strings, and percussion—and is led by a person called a conductor. A full-sized orchestra can have over 80 musicians!
CONDUCTOR: The person who directs the musicians in the orchestra.
WOODWINDS: Flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, piccolo, bassoon.
BRASS: Trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba.
STRINGS: Violin, viola, cello, double bass.
