• Sardines
High in Omega 3 fatty acids that counter inflammation and fight depression, sardines also contain first-class protein and other good things, such as iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, copper and some B vitamins.
If the taste puts you off, spread mustard on buttered bread before adding the sardines. Afterwards, munch some parsley, as the chlorophyll reduces the fishy odour, and suck a peppermint.
