TALKING POINT Harrowing and hard to watch, Three Girls touched the nation’s nerve. Exhausting, engaging and, in the final stages, empowering. The BBC dramatisation of the Rochdale child sex abuse scandal was a programme that you wanted to think wasn’t real but, unfortunately, was. This excellently acted production really conveyed that the system was broken and all of the women were let down.
