Speaking at his old school in Croydon, the 25-year-old announced he will pay for two black students to go to Cambridge this year and two next, as well as offering a maintenance grant for each to live on. Cambridge has been criticised for its lack of diversity, with admission figures showing that some of its colleges accepted no black students at all between 2012 and 2016.
