Goodness, it's hard to keep up with all the reasons to disapprove of, denounce or just detest Emily In Paris (season three of which just landed on Netflix). There's the righteous quasi-woke (EIP perpetuates stereotypes of French people as work-shy, brutally rude, cigarette-smoking adulterers, Americans as culturally ignorant narcissists with barely a passport between ‘em) and there's the intellectually snobbish (the plot is cliche, the show overall: unashamedly commercial).
