Stephen Templer is an illustrator, propdesigner, street performer, samba group founder and member of eight-piece performance group Beat Squad, “an all-terrain, all-weather maximum energy bootyfunk rescue squad”. For his latest venture, he toured Wellington on a Sausage Circus Bicycle Sound System, a street theatre conducted by Lord Curio (Steve), that hosted madcap acts like a peep show by Hilda Hotcakes, a “chain-smoking, ginguzzling burlesque puppet”.
