… I am greeted by the fragrant, woody smell from the cedar of Lebanon tucked up high on my shelf, the tart Cherry wood used on my last project, and the deep, earthy, rich tone of black maple that produces the most stunning dark vases. I’ve always loved the beauty of nature and what it yields; it awakens my creative side. In my space, you’ll find salvaged wood, wispy tree vines, and an old workbench from 1912. My studio is my sanctuary. There have been days when I’ve cried, danced, and even laughed in the midst of creating.
