Emotions are running high as Fred’s funeral arrives this week. Fred’s not-quite widow, Bev, pointedly attends the service in her wedding dress, while Audrey finds herself very much painted as the scarlet woman of the piece. However, more passions and resentments are bubbling under among the congregation. Frankie is on the verge of reconciliation with Danny, leaving tormented Jamie struggling over his feelings for her – and struggle he should, given that Frankie is his stepmum and the woman who brought him up! Unable to hold himself back any longer, Jamie kisses Frankie, leaving her stunned. She tells him to back off, but icky as this may be, is Frankie really so clear on her feelings?
