At he same time as I write this week’s editor’s letter and prepare to send Inside Soap to the printers, the cast of Neighbours are shooting their final scenes at the show’s set in Nunawading, near Melbourne, as filming on the iconic Aussie soap comes to an end for the second time. It’s a bittersweet moment for Neighbours fans around the world, who – like me – I’m sure are sad about the show ending again, while also being grateful that the soap’s new chapter on Amazon gave us an extra two and a bit years with our Ramsay Street favourites.
