If her first attempt has failed following the events of this week, Charity can either commit herself to another round of fertility treatment, or decide against trying again. Neither choice is easy, but it has certainly sparked debate. On the one hand, if Charity births a child for Sarah, she does so knowing that her poorly granddaughter is living on borrowed time.
