It’s a sad week in the world of soap, as we once again wave goodbye to iconic Aussie soap Neighbours. This finale is bittersweet; on the one hand, I never thought we’d get another two-and-a-half-years of drama following the show’s original axing back in 2022. On the other, it seems so cruel that we’re having to say farewell to our Ramsay Street favourites all over again, having already been through the trauma of losing them once. But, if Neighbours’ stint on Amazon has taught us anything, it’s that a soap is never truly done and dusted… and I still have a feeling there will be another chapter to the story of our pals in Erinsborough before too long.
