It’s also about the material choices” REENA KALLAT artist WHEN I FIRST encountered Reena Saini Kallat in her studio in 2015, the impression she left me with was not that of Victor Frankenstein, the inventor whose wild experimentation led to the creation of a monster, but of both their makers, Mary Shelley, who dreamt up the scientist one night, and eventually fleshed him and his invention out through the pages of her epic 1818 novel, Frankenstein.
