Editor’s Letter
When I think of quilting, the gifts that quilting has brought into my life come to mind. Granted there are the skills learned, collections of beautiful fabrics and knowledge gained from classes and books, but the most important gift to me comes from my fellow quilters and the sense of community that I feel. My quilting friends have been there for me during happy times and sad times, sharing my joy and grief. This quilting community has become even more important over the past year as we dealt with the isolation brought on by the pandemic. It has forced us to find alternate ways of staying connected—who could have imagined the role that social media and Zoom meetings would play in connecting us?
